My daughter's 100 days old today
Which in China is quite important
I'm told
She's growing so fast
Learning so fast
Changing so fast
Almost every day she seems to do something new
She has natural highlights in her hair
Gorgeous eyes
A wonderful smile
And she loves to walk
She made that clear almost from day 1
And she has to be talked to
Because she is the centre of attention
She has us know
A huge personality
For such a little thing

Congratulations
Congratulations that your daughter is 100 years old. I hadn't heard of that tradition. Mine is now 118 days old. I see you wrote this a while ago, when was she born. Mine was 17/7/07 - they could be around the same time?

Thanks Emma,
Yes, the tradition is Chinese, I don't think we have it in Spain and I don't think there's one like it in the UK. My daughter was born on 23/7/08 so she's just a few days younger than your baby. And both babies are little rats according to the Chinese calendar. Which is actually good (eg intelligent) and perhaps cuter from a European point of view than being little piglets like last year's babies!
